Manchester based Melanie graduated this year from the University of Bolton with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Textiles and Surface Design. Experimenting with machine and hand embroidery on non-conventional surfaces, primarily beer cans. As well as her interest in recycling and reusing everyday objects and giving them new life, Melanie's work also contains moral narrative. Melanie has just started an MA in Textiles and is developing these ideas further.
